Book Announcement

Dear Carbon Paradox Community,

We’re excited to announce our upcoming book: The Carbon Paradox, launching this September during Climate Week NYC in partnership with Red Penguin Books.

Told through the eyes of three daring students who travel to the tropical nation of Demba to fund climate projects, the story pulls you into the thrilling, complex, and often paradoxical world of carbon credits. Blending fact with climate fiction, it offers both a compelling narrative and an insightful dive into one of the most debated tools in climate finance.

This book is for you if:

  • You enjoy climate fiction grounded in real-world issues
  • You’re puzzled by why climate action is so often controversial
  • You like unraveling the carbon paradoxes—and exploring how to solve them
  • You’re drawn to entrepreneurial stories full of risk, ambition, and uncertainty
  • You’re curious about climate finance, its promises and its pitfalls
  • You want to understand why the carbon credit market collapsed in 2023—and what it might take to bring it back

The book can be pre-ordered via this link. A German version will follow, plus more ways to order to additional geographies. The cover design is still subject to change. Updates will be shown on this page.

Would you be open to endorsing our book, or do you know someone who might?

Please reach out—we’d love to hear from you!
